Beach Camping

 We began preparing for our campout with Michael teaching us about fire.

 Then Owen taught us about video games and poisonous plants. Ted really needed to be excused to use the bathroom.

 Then we had a tug-o-war. Not sure why but it was awesome.

 Then we went out and practiced making fires.

 We succeeded. Sam's expression says it all.

So we traveled far down the coast near Santa Cruz to camp. See Michael and Carlos traveling.

 

And we set up camp in the dark.

And when we woke up it looked like this

John found a friend that nibbles.

John named it, "Rupert the Nibbler"

Owen and John decide its fate. "Should we eat him or free him?"

They let "Rupert the Nibbler" live, and then went and cleaned up the beach.

I have no title for this other than scouts like to hold light sabers... I mean sticks and have light saber battles... I mean stick battles.
